About me

  • I love to... go out for a walk and take pictures with my camera
  • I don't like... people who always see only bad things & going to the supermarket without knowing what I want to buy
  • I would like to work as... a professional photograher
  • I love eating... sushi, a german wiener schnitzel and pizza

Why Hong Kong?

  • I was interested in Asian culture since I was little, because my godfather has a Vietnamese wife who told me a lot about Vietnam and China. When I saw that the YMCA was offering an IJFD in Hong Kong, my decision was already made.

What needed to be in my suitcase?

  • Camera, laptop, books and my Bible. I hope the rest is there.

My hopes for the time in Hong Kong

  • To get to know the Hong Kong culture, to make new friends, to grow in faith and personally and to have an idea how my future path will go.

About me

  • I love to... spend time with my friends, especially when it involes eating and deep talk
  • I don't like... vacuuming my flat
  • I would like to work as... a person who gets paid for listening to people
  • I love eating... pizza

Why Hong Kong?

  • Since my teenage years I have found Asia super exciting and it was immediately clear to me that I wanted to spend my year somewhere in Asia. What I love about Hong Kong is that it combines so many opposites. Nature and big cities, mountains and sea and also in a certain way west and east.

What needed to be in my suitcase?

  • My headphones, my schedule, a few photos, a German and an English Bible and my pair of favorite shoes.

My hopes for the time in Hong Kong

  • That it will be a time when I can grow in my faith, my personality and my abilities and that it will be a time when I can really do something good for other people through my work.

About me

  • I love to... go hiking, swimming, making schedules or cooking with friends
  • I don't like... not knowing what to do
  • I would like to work as... a physicist
  • I love eating... vegetarian

Why Hong Kong?

  • Hong Kong has been inspiring me for a long time because it is not only a meeting point for different cultures that have created something very special, which I would like to experience, but also because many Christians in mainland China and Hong Kong have decided much more actively for their faith since it has not yet become such a tradition in the country and I find this amazing. I want to learn from this for my faith.

What did you have in my suitcase?

  • There are lots of pictures in my suitcase so that I can tell about myself  and my swimming trunks so that I can  go swimming often when I'm so close to the sea.

My hopes for the time in Hong Kong

  • During my time abroad I hope to gain many new experiences and experiences with unforgettable people, to form new, long-lasting friendships and to be able to broaden my horizon.
