Funding & Donations
Given that the full-time employees of the YMCAs are completely funded by sponsors and private donations, we have developed a new finance plan for Mario and Lea.
The fundraising target should cover the following costs:
- Transportation costs (flight and train tickets for domestic and intercontinental travels)
- Administrative costs (concerning both YMCA of Nuremberg and YMCA state association of Bavaria)
- Material costs
- Insurances (social insurances, overseas health insurance, accident insurance, etc.)
- Salary (maintenance costs, public transport, etc.)
Summary of donations and latest news on the funding
- The YMCA state association of Bavaria agreed to support the project for one year.
- China Partner agreed to support the project .
- The Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong agreed to provide an accomodation for Mario and Lea. This will be included in the salary.
- We received generous one-time donations of private persons.
- The number of permanent private donors keeps growing.
